01/09/2015 ... Portugal: experienced EFL teacher wanted for 01/10/2015 to 30/06/2016 in Evora

Small language school with friendly, professional working environment. We employ teachers on the basis of a freelance agreement to teach 24 hours per week from 01/10/2015 to 30/06/2016. Possible renewal for following year. Typical periods during which the teaching timetable is arranged: Mon/Tue/Thu 5.00pm-10.00pm, Wed 2.30pm-5.00pm and 6.00pm-10.00pm, Fri 3.00pm-8.00pm Sat 10.00am-1.00pm. The school is located in the small Unesco world heritage city of Evora in southern Portugal. We offer communicative language training for small groups of children, and youths/adults, at all levels (6 years of age to CPE level) and training for Cambridge exams, especially FCE/CAE. Facilities include interactive white-boards (training provided). Our 'Guidelines for Teachers' booklet provides information and guidance for new teachers. Applications invited from EU-citizen, graduate, native-speaker, CELTA-qualified (or equivalent) EFL teachers, with minimum 2 years' experience. Knowledge of Portuguese or other Latin-based languages an advantage. We seek teachers who are professional in their approach, adaptable, dedicated, organised, creative and motivated. Please provide full details of education (including primary/secondary) and proficiency in languages. Experience of using interactive white-boards an advantage.

Freelance agreement includes guaranteed 24 hours/week with minimum remuneration of 1,664 euros per month paid gross (16 euros/hour). 10 days holiday at Christmas/Easter. Free accident insurance. Opportunities for professional development. Assistance with finding accommodation and dealing with the Portuguese authorities. Exemption from social security contributions during the first 12 months of your residence in Portugal.
